Hello,
I've created a fence diagram and I'm trying to overlay contaminant concentration polygons on top of startigraphic layers. I would like to adjust the transparency of individual concentration polygons so that part of the underlying geologic layer is visible. I've experimented with Print Order for these layers but it isn't giving me the desired output.
Thanks!
Hi Rohit,
No there is not a transparency setting in gINT that would allow a solid fill to become more see through. Print order is the option in gINT, but it is not equivalent to transparency. It does give the illusion of transparency if there is the following criteria. If you have a solid fill (color) and a pattern fill and you want to see the pattern through the color set the print order higher on the entity with the pattern. that just means the pattern prints last (ie on top). Below is a picture of what I am describing. If you have two solid fills and want to see through one it won't work.
It sounds like you have a good understanding but thought I would describe. I am also linking this tutorial although you may already have this knowledge.
