Using gINT for job costing

Accounting has asked me to pull data out of gINT for them to use for year-end job costing.  For example, they would like to know how many lineal feet a particular driller drilled over the past 12 months, how many days he drilled, etc.  I have a text table report that queries multiple project and outputs some project table info and some of the point table info that would include a list of drillers for each job and length of feet drilled by each.  However, when you export the report to Excel, some of the cells are lists that cannot then be sorted.  Any ideas?  Are there any sample job costing procedures available for gINT?

  • Hi Gina,

Do you mean to export the lookup lists that you may have in your project or point tables for drillers, length of feet etc. into the same excel that you have exported for your report? If you want to export these lookups to the same excel, you will need to first go to Data Design tab/Lookup list... then go to File/Export to Excel, click on selected pages option in the dialogue box and then click on the '...' next to the Page list option to browse and select the lookups that you want to export. Upon starting the export, select append to the existing file.

We do not have samples for costing procedures.
