Is there an Expression that will test for specific text ?

Hello, I am trying to add a condition in our log report, in the USCS Symbol column, not to print out the data there if the Sediment Type field at the same depth contains the text "Similar to above". I tried the following:
<<IIf(<<STRATIGRAPHY.Sediment Type>> = "Similar to above" OR "Similar to above, except",,<<STRATIGRAPHY.USCS_Symbol>>_
)>>
That results in the USCS Symbol not appearing at all, anywhere.
Any ideas? Thank you!

Hi Terry, Without Seeing the files it is a bit difficult out of context but you could try this. Open up the entity.. Leave the main text expression in the Main tab as is or just pulling in the field IE <>. In the configuration tab of the entity go to body data output condition (for a column entity) and Output condition for a non column entity and try this. NOT <>,"*Similar to Above*")>> If you just want to consolidate (only show one uscs symbol) where it repeats across multiple layers . I recommend this how to guide .
