You can use a Lookup function in your text expression and pull in the caption or description. Here is an example of Caption:

The Caption field property allows you to "caption" any table and any field. It is what the user sees in Input. This does not affect and reflect on reports. Reports still use the Table and Field names.
Same thing applies to the caption and the description fields of the library table and also symbol design lists. They are not designed for reports or output.
You may want to create another column in your input that has description of that Well, and reference that column in your report. If so, you would want to test it a few times with your data to see if that suits your needs.
