Say I have 20 boreholes in my project file, and some have encountered Peat. This is defined by a record on my STRATA_MAIN table which has a key set PointID,Depth and a field Geology_unit_1 which would be set to "Pt". I'd like to make a map that shows the areas that have peat, perhaps the boundary is half way between boreholes that have peat and ones that do not. I was told this can be done using ArcGIS, can it be done using GCT?
Hi,
The current tools will generate a terrain that covers the whole area. It is possible to cut an existing terrain element by adding a void, but not in Civil Tools for now
The other option would be the "cut from existing ground tool, because if there is no peat in an area the layer below might be present in that gap and it could be used to cut the peat layer
