Hello,
we are using gINT for log and fence reports for now. We are trying now to make a report template which would allow us to show log description together with bar chart of dynamic probing and a graph of Plate load test on one page as follows. Is it possible to insert a graph into a log teplate or vice versa? Or is it possible to report graph on log template in any other means?
Thanks
Jakub,
Plot vs depth entity to create line or a point graph and a Bar chart vs depth entity to create Bar chart graph can be used in gINT. There is no specific tutorial that will show how to create these two types of entity. But the gINT standard US data set has Environmental BH Plots, Geotech Bh Plots report and CPT report that will give you examples of the Plot vs Depth entity. You can use these templates for your reference. Attached is the link to the Log Tutorial which will illustrate how to add new columns/entities to the report. Also is the link to the US standard file set for you to download as a reference.
Thanks for answer and pointing me to the tutorial page. Im aware of entities you mention. The problem is they are depth related but have to be independent of depth so we can draw them separatelly at different part of the page.
The other problem I can't solve is how to plot a plate load test. The X axis should be a plate load which goes from 0 kPa to 200 kPa, then back to 0 kPa and once more to 200 kPa and back to zero. The Y axis is depth of plate at distinct plate loads which can be several identical values. I'm unsuccessful with creating the plot as shown on my example.
Any advice how to do that would be much appreciated.
I have completely missed Sort by key set data field in configuration tab. So now the plot vs depth is drawn correctly. The only remaining problem is that the plot vs depth and bar chart entities at the bottom of the page have both different scales. Is there any way to plot both graphs independently of depth?
