I am using an agency report (Wisconsin DNR), and what was provided was items from 2012, this includes a Data Template. The graphic drop down menu is empty and it looks like the field is trying to find items from a data template from 2003, which it is obviously not finding since I do not have that. How do I make gINT pull info from the 2012 data template? Are there any other reasons one could think of why the material graphic drop down menu is empty? Thank you.
The drop downs should be populated from the library, make sure you have selected the corresponding library that goes with the data template
Basically what I have done is open up the zip file that Bentley offers and moved all items to their respective folders. Once opening up a project, and using the library provided in the zip file, the graphics have no items in the dropdown menus. Even on the "example" project provided in the zip, the dropdowns are empty. Perhaps the library just has provided empty graphics dropdowns?
Hi Bradley,
Almost all of the libraries provided for download are skeleton libraries and need to be merged into a "base" library. Either your companies library or one of the ones we ship with the program (IE gINT std US Lab)
To merge open one of the Base libraries. goto Utilities..Lib/merge copy ...merge from ...choose select non duplicate move everything over to merge. see screen shot
To start a new project clone the wi dnr datatemplate. Then output to the reports you merged into the base library file
