My library is approaching 7 MB in file size. I've removed reports and tables not applicable to the library but little reduction in file size.
With a blank slate, I can use Lib Merge/Copy to get what I need.
Thanks,
EDIT: I guess the question is moot if 7 MB is a normal working file size for a gINT library. Any input is appreciated.
Hi Allan Paul,
7mb is a completely normal size for a library. The standard files that gINT ships with range from about 4 to 10mb and they are typically basic starting points for most users. I can't imagine a scenario where a library of that size would cause any issue with memory or performance of the program.

Forgot to mention that I've done this already. Thanks.
1a) UTILITIES tab -> Repair/Compact Database ->. check Library box -> Execute button (this may shrink your library 5% - 20%, but probably not more)
1b) Split one library into multiple smaller libraries (UTILITIES -> Lib Merge/Copy)
Seen folks work with libraries of size 50-60 MB successfully (depends on your machine and network environment if you share library via network location)
2) UTILITIES -> Lib Merge/Copy -> check Copy To radio button -> under Target Library File text box, enter new library name -> click Execute button -> you will be informed that this library does not exist and prompted to create one - > confirm by clicking Yes button

I have a few different libraries that I use, file size ranges from 5.5mb to 10mb (for reference)
Try Utilities, Repair/Compact to reduce the size of the LIBRARY file.
