I need to change the "depth units on page 1" for one log, but when I try to do this from the Output screen (properties - report structure) that field is grayed out and I can't change it. On other templates I can change it, but this particular one doesn't let me. I can't see where there is any difference in the properties. Any ideas?
Hi Terry,
If you have an "expression" written in the Depth units page 1 Log report properties it will not allow you to modify it from the output screen.
goto Report Design. pick the log report. then pick the properties button just to the left of the yellow drop down box. In the properties goto Report Structure. In the depth units page 1 you will see an expression. That expression controls how it works for that report. if you look at the expression it may tell you what it is looking for. For example it may be looking for data from a field in input called DEPTH LOG PAGE.
If you want to change it for one log just goto the POINT (borehole) table in input and fill out the information for one borehole in the Depth Log Page field.
Alternatively you can remove the expression or put in a hard coded number from the report properties and it will allow you to put something in in output.
Here is the description on the Depth units page 1 property.
If this property is a number, or empty, the property appears on the output screen and can be modified.
The program then obtains the value for this property only from Output, not from the log report property.
To enforce this behavior, the Log report property is disabled in the Output Application Group. If the property has an expression, the property at Output is suppressed and the report property is editable.
