Hi
Just installed the new version of gINT alongside 10.00.00.07.
After the splash screen this is what I get.
Windows 10 x64.
Any ideas?
I've signed in to the Connection Client and 10.00.00.60 loads up as expected (although with a few run-time errors that it didn't have prior to the installation of 10.01.00.01.
Run-time error = 440
Paul, the error suggests the licensing has not been set up for Connect Licensing version.
For the Connect Licensing version of gINT you should first setup the user management entitlements for all the users using gINT (and all your Bentley products). Traditionally the Bentley products were licensed through Bentley Server activation key, and that is why gINT (10.00.00.60 works fine for you). For versions 10.00.01.07 and 10.01.00.01 and forward, product activation is managed by user sign in through the CONNECTION Client and the user entitlement. Please refer to this post for detailed description and setup information:
Also, gINT version 10.00.00.60 was pulled out on March 2nd, 2019 since it reported some very critical issues. See the blog post:
Hi There.
I do have the Connection Client and I'm currently signed in. This was mandated through our IT team. Same result.
Regards
Paul
That's good to know. But you also have to make sure if your email is listed in the User Management profile of your company. The link provided in my reply earlier has video for licensing and activation that expalins how the IT admin who has login to the User Management and add the email ids of their users.
If you have done the steps explained in the video and still experience issues, then you would need licensing support to look into it.
I appear to be in the list. I think we need licensing support to have a look into this. How do I go about arranging this?
Paul, please send your contact number in the service ticket that you created. Update the service ticket with your contact info.
