Hi,
We are receiving regular crashes in gINT Logs, when the crash occurs the user receives the following errors:
The gINT log files reside on a central network share but the crashes don't occur simultaneously for end users, they occur at completely different times throughout the day and when working on different files as well. Current gINT version is 10.00.01.07 gINT (logs). The application was stable on Windows 7 until workstations were replaced for new machines running Windows 10. Same Antivirus product that was on the old machines. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks
Paul
Hi Paul,
This sounds similar to an issue we had with a Microsoft patch released January 8. Can you please tell us which WIndows 10 OS you are using, and your most recent patch installs? You may need to update and install a more recent patch.
As a reference, the blog post with the patch which corrects the issue is here: https://communities.bentley.com/products/geotechnical1/b/geoblog/posts/fix-for-gint-users-affected-by-the-january-8-microsoft-patch-has-been-released
If you wish to reach out to me, please feel free to contact me at katie.aguilar@bentley.com.
Regards,
Katie
Hi Katie,
Here's the OS info:
All machines are patched weekly early hours Wednesday morning.
Please reach out to me and email me your contact information. We need to know which updates you have installed.
It is under Settings => Updates and Security=> View update history.
