Removing a Watermark

A few months ago we moved gINT to a new computer in order to update the program and have it run smoother. As a result we had to reconnect file paths to our old information. We have run into a problem however where a large gINT watermark appears in the center of our documents when we try to print. The watermark obscures our information making it difficult to read and use the logs in a professional manner. My question is how do we go about removing the watermark or at least changing it to represent our company and make it less intense. Included is a picture of what our blank printed logs would look like. Before we moved to a new computer we did not have the watermark in any form and we can not return to the old machine and print from there because the old version of gINT is no longer supported.

  • Hi Matthew,

The Watermark means you are not using a licensed copy of gINT on this machine. It could be you have opened in the wrong level of gINT for what you have a license for. IE you opened in gINT professional and you only have a license for gINT logs. It could also mean you never activated on this machine. If you are using a version that uses a SELECT license 10.00.00.xx and lower then make sure you have activated by going to help ..activation wizard. If you have 10.00.01.07 and greater then it uses CONNECT licensing.

In either case make sure you are opening in a level of gINT you have a license for. ...In gINT goto help...Launch (gINT Logs, gINT pro, gINT pro plus) and make sure the one you have a license for the one that is checked. If not select the appropriate one and relaunch gINT.

If you are using a version that uses Select licensing see here for help activating

If you are using a version that uses SES (formerly known as CONNECT Licensing) see Here for help activating.

If you still need assistance e-mail me privately with your company information so I can look up your account to better assist you kirk.johnson@bentley.com
