Can't open gINT have to Select different library

I think I have opened a wrong library before.  I can't open gINT now, I keep having this error message " Gint will now close automictically.  You could select a different library by double clicking on one in File Explorer" I followed the instruction but without success!  I also tried to open the library file from a backup copy.   Please give some direction.

  • Hi Miranda,

If you are getting the message that gINT can't find a library and you must browse. Then when you browse to a library file, one with a .glb and it still says the same thing it may be a library with an old Access structure that may need to be converted. It depends on the version of gINT you are running. If you create a debug log per below it will give me the information about what version of gINT you have etc...

The best place to start might be a screen shot of message and a debug log, along with the library file you are trying to open.

All of these can be e-mailed to me and I can open a service request kirk.johnson@bentley.com

Here is how to run in debug . Please send me the text file per instructions below.

    Applies To Product(s): gINT Logs, Professional, Professional Plus Version(s): N/A Environment: N/A Area: N/A Subarea: N/A …

If you want to create a Service Request and attach the files to the request you can also create one and attach the files, instead of sending me the files.
