My company is trying to implement fence diagrams in our geotechnical reports. They gave me a gINT pro license and I have been following the fences_tutorial_V8i tutorial provided by you guys. I am following this using my own project file and library to see if I can create these fence reports with my companies format. I got to the adding water levels section and it looks like the references to current field in my file is different than the tutorial, and I am trying to figure out how to call up my specific items I want displayed. The water levels disappears as soon as I tried to add blow counts to the fence diagram as well and I have not been able to get them to show up again. Could anyone help me with setting up a report design that will work for multiple projects?
Hi Noah,
You are correct. If you have your own customized files you would need to reference the table and field from your database to call in the information (ie water level).
I would need to see your files (gINT library and gINT Project) to give specific details as it pertains to your reports. You can either e-mail me your files or if you prefer file a service request and attach the files.
If you would like to file a service request here are instructions.
We resolved this issue by mapping his fence report to the gINT Project structure.
The Fence report design tutorial is a good reference for anyone looking to design fence reports and covers mapping the entities to your data base structure
