PDF Graphic Not Colored Black

I haven't been able to determine why graphic symbols are not black in pdfs as shown below:

. Then when you print the pdfs, the graphics are very faint.

But when you preview the same report and print directly to a printer, the graphic symbol is black, as follows:

I have checked the System Properties. Is there some place else that is controlling the pdf graphic symbol creation. The graphic is a bitmap symbol stored in our gINT library.

  • Hi Craig,

There would not be anything controlling a bitmap symbol in gINT, that would be controlled by gINT, to display differently for a pdf.

I assume you are using the gINT pdf export feature in gINT and not printing to a pdf driver from the print button. If you are that would be the first thing I would try is using the pdf export feature in gINT.. To export to pdf goto output and pick all of the normal output parameters. Hit the export button on the far right or the pdf button at the top . (not the print button)...it will ask you to name the pdf and browse to where you want to save it. Once you hit save you will see by export button on the right with the file name and path you just made filled out ..hit export.

Here is a link showing the process.

If that doesn't resolve then please send me the library and project and I would be happy to take a look at it.
