I would like to use a Graphic Text Report to create a template to print out multiple photos of rock core. Either 1 per page or 2 per page. I would like the template to print for a specific boring. I don't need anything that shows up like a log - I just want to show the photos sequentially and I will add labels. I could not fine a WIKI on this. I assume the KeySet would be PointID. Any other tips to get me going down the right path?
Seems like this would be a fairly common thing, but I cannot find any examples.
Hi Monique,
There are a few options. Send me a message with your contact details and I would be happy to reach out. Just click on my name to send me a private message.
If these are core box photos that represent a depth range then I would recommend using point ID depth that way you can capture your data input (depth , bottom and photo associated with that range.. Here is an example of 4 per page. If this is the look you want to achieve let me know and I can walk you through it. The advantage to a graphic Text doc is it is better for a summary of all boreholes, but you could certainly set it up as one borehole at a time.
Other options would be to use the additional page options of a log report and have it print a separate page after each borehole log output with one or two photos specifically from that Borehole.
In this case the user had point id depth table with a photo field added.
We used the <<ProjectSymbol()>> function on the bitmap in a graphic text for more info see help in gINT under the function
