I am trying to create a fence report template from a gINT drawing. My computer crashed and I lost my library file with the report templates. I would like to create the same template I was using, from one of my completed drawings.
Hi Grant,
You can take a look at the standard files that are shipped with gINT. In there you will see fence templates and certain drawing templates that can be used to create new report design.
Here is where you can get the standard datasets. Scroll to next page for a continued list of countries based on where you are.
If possible, look for a back up copy of your library file on a network drive or shared drive, or may be you had stored it in any other location.
I was able to find a backup of my library file however some of the edits I did were after the pre-crash backup. I was just wondering if there was a quick way to copy a report template from a pre-existing drawing. I can just copy-to-buffer the elements of the drawing and paste them in the report template. Thanks for the reply.
I am afraid, that won't work. Drawing files are not connected to any project, data template or library. They do not have any individual entities that are required to build each section/column of the report. The drawings file with extension .gdw is not stored in the library.
