How do you customize which columns are present in the report?

Generally all of our projects use the Environmental BH Plot, and we use most of the columns. However some of our projects don't include installing wells. Then the reports only have borings and boring data, with no wells or well data. How do I remove the well diagram column (or any column), and adjust the rest of the columns to still fit the whole page?

  • Hi Hannah,

I think the simplest thing for you is to see if one of the other reports in your library would be better to use when you do not have Well Data. Assuming your using the gINT Standard file set in output you can pick other reports from the yellow drop down list. I would recommend trying the general bh tp well report. It is a smart report and will adjust based on what data you have or don't have. You can make the Environmental Bh Plot a smart report  by re-writing some of the functions in report design, but that may be double work and one of the other reports may be the best option.

Here is reference material on report design if you decide you want to make edits to the report to make it a smart report. One recommendation I always make is if you decide to edit make a copy of the report and edit the copy . You can do this by going to report design ...pick the report you want to copy in the yellow drop down and then goto the file menu copy page. Give the new report a new name and edit the copy.
