I am using grain size logs (GSLs) to apply ESS at a site. I want to add GSLs to a cross section report. I think the best way to represent the GSLs is as a bar chart. Has anyone done this? If so can you share how you did this and how you colored each bar based on grain size.
I was able to use the bar chart vs depth tool in the fence report to create the GSLs.
Hi Jesse. Thanks for pointing me to that. The example is not what what we're trying to do. I want the length of the bar to be based on the grain size code (1 for clay, 9 for gravel). I think we figured out how to do it. Once we get it set I'll share the code if I can figure out how to do it.
Hi John, if you search gINT Help, there is a detailed article titled "Particle Size Data Represented as Bars - Logs (how-to guide)". That approach could also be used on a Fence.
