Good afternoon everyone!
Noob here with hopefully an easy question. I searched online and on the forum, but couldn't find anything for this.
When one of our users tries to save a log file they are working on with gINT Professional, they get an error message that reads the following:
DATA SAVE ERROR. Unable to locate record for update. Seeking record ID '139'. [OK] Keep the grid as shown, [Cancel] Reload from the original records.
This issue is only with one file, as they don't have issues saving other files. Could someone enlighten me on what this error message means and what is "Record ID 139".
Thank you!!
Sergio
It could mean a database corruption.
try these 2 items below and if they don't work click on my name and privately send me your contact info and I will reach out to troubleshoot further. If the file is severely corrupted you may need to recover your companies backups of the file.
1. Try repairing. Goto Utilities..repair compact...pick the database... hit execute.
2. Try repairing Access database engine (unlikely to fix it but it is something you can try)
You may be able to recover the data by creating a new blank project from a good structure and then import the data.

Hi Kirk,
Yep it looks like the file was corrupted. I was able to recover an older version of the gINT file and that was able to save without issue.
Thank you for your help!
