I want to underline and edit the text style of text. Anyone please help me with that?
As Phil wade stated, the on/off toggle for underline is <<u>>, bold is <<b>>, italics is <<i>> . You can use these in several different ways. If you place these codes directly in the text in your data field it will have the desired on/off toggle effect. But, this is generally not recommended for several reasons.
1. You may have other templates that use the same data field where you dont want the text underlined
2 if you use a template that already underlines the text, the on/off toggle will have the opposite effect as intended
3. If you export data to another program (say excel) the formatting codes go with it and the other program will not understand them.
The better way is to add the desired formatting directly in the log entity that creates the text. Most entities have bold, italics, underline check boxes to apply desired formatting to the entire entity or you xan customize the text expression to format portions of the data as desired. In addition, the header text entity has an additional data tab that allows you to place an underline under the entire space available for data output and will print regardless of the length of your data.
You did not provide a specific example so it is hard to advise you further.
