Missing shear strength values on CPT logs

Hi All,

I am using Datgel in order to create VC/CPT combination logs. For some clay layers, the shear strength is not being calculated or shown in the CPT data table. I am wondering how I can fix this in order to have all shear stregth values plotted.

Thanks in advance!

  • Hi Liadh

This would be because the layer with empty su is coarse grained.

If you are using your company's customized gINT Files, my recollection is your colleagues developed a way to override this in the Datgel Formula Tool and calc su.

    regards
