  • Indents can be in multiple places

    1. In the actual data that is being reported by the entity.  In this case edit the data

    2. In the expression that generates the text in the entity.  This is usually set up with a <<Tab>> function.  In this case change the tab function to the desired value. Typically, this is either in the text expression, in the second data expression or in the associated data expression.  Not knowing any specifics about what your situation is or what you are trying to do, it is hard to provide more specific guidance.

    3. In the wrap tab of the entity properties.  You can change the margins and second line indent to get the desired result.

  • You need to post the specific example. It is hard for me to guess what you are trying to do from your general description. As stated above, the problem can be located in many different places depending on your specific situation. As a minimum, please post:

    1. The type of report you are using. Specifically, a log report, a fence, a graphic table, a graphic text document, a table. Etc.

    2. A screen shot of the out put problem

    3. A screen shot of the report design screen that comes up when you try to edit the report.

    4. A screen shot of the entity properties window that comes up when you double click on the entity that generates the problem text 8n the report design screen.

Once I see that I can provide more specific direction.
