Logs - Plot vs Depth Scaling

CE Harris asked: I'm plotting penetration values. Is it possible to scale 0 to 10 arithmetically and 10 to 100 on a square root or log scale? And can I have vertical grid lines placed automatically?

ANSWER: You can do both these things on a Log Report using the Column Plot vs. Depth Entity, which allows a choice of arithmetic, square root or logarithmic scale. The number, line type, and thickness of vertical grid lines are properties of the entity that can be set in the Data Scale tab:

To have two sets of plotted data with different scale types, one way to do it is to set up two adjacent column entities. In your example, the first would have an arithmetic scale and plot values from 0 to 10, and the second would have a square root scale or a logarithmic scale and plot values from >10 to 100.
