Lookup definition missing in current library

Hi,

Is there a quick way to list all the fields in a data template that are not correctly pointing to a lookup from the library?

i.e. The fields display "[LOOKUP DEFINITION MISSING IN CURRENT LIBRARY]" down the bottom of the screen when you select the field, but I am hoping not to have to trawl through all the fields if there is a better way.

Thanks

Calan.

  • Calan, this notification currently appears only in the INPUT interface, in that information zone at the bottom of the screen. It appears only when the cursor is in the field with the missing lookup definition.

Working in DATA DESIGN>Project Database with the Current Project (or current Data Template) selected may provide a faster way to verify the presence of lookup lists. With the data structure open, you can arrow or click down through the list of fields for each table and view the Lookup property for each, then compare it to the list of available lookups.

This will be even easier if you have a list of the Library Tables, Lookup Lists and Readings Lists in the library:

    1. To list Library Tables, for example, click on the DATA DESIGN>Library Tables tab.
    2. In the File menu, select the List option.
    3. Click the Print button to print the list, or the Export button to create a file listing all the Library tables.
    4. Repeat steps 1-3 for the Lookup Lists and Readings Lists in your library.
