I like the fact that I can now export logs from gint into microstation as a dgn file. I have always thought that the gint editor was very cumbersome. I'd like to make some suggestions for some future features/options.
When I export the logs, they are created as individual files. I'd like to be able to export all pages of a log to a single dgn file.
Secondly, my default microstation layout is a black screen. gint exports the the logs as black lines. The only ways to see them involves either changing the screen background or changing all of the elements to another color. While neither is difficult, it's just one more step I have to take.
Thoughts?
You can export a strip log (at least using DXF). Go to report properties of your log and report Structure tab. Check the box "Continuous Printing". I attempted to use this with DGN export and well....the Gintdgn.exe gave an error.
It would also be good if the seed file was set by default. If you don't know where to look, its here

Last week I exported a fence to dgn, and it has white lines (or they appear white in MicroStation).

Get the most out of gINT with Datgel Tools.
I've tried changing the seed settings, but it appears the black/white option is merely a workspace option and doesn't impact any exports from gint. If there's a way to do this that I'm not familiar with, let me know.
