Does anyone have any experience with obtaining the modal value for a histogram plot?
Other statistical data (mean/median/max/min etc) are OK but I need the modal value.
I have been trying with SQL but am struggling so any help would be appreciated.

What kind of data are you analyzing to obtain the modal value?
If you are looking for the increment modal, and do not have multiple modals (in other words, a tie for the greatest area in the histogram bars), you would be able to use SQL to determine the maximum frequency per increment, then compare them to find the modal value.
Could you provide an example set of data with the modal value as determined by other means, for readers in the Forum to use in answering your question?
