I'm trying to read a new table (separate to the current one) into gINT rules so that I have two variable arrays from different tables available at the same time. It seems so simple, but I can't seem to do it. Any ideas?
Thanks
This can be done by creating a recordset of data in in the other table. The recordset can be read directly or you could convert it to an array.

Get the most out of gINT with Datgel Tools.
I also would like to know how to do this. Is there any better introduction to creating a recordset for the less experienced user than the link in Phil's response ?
You should read the gINT Rules for gINT Version V8i - gINT V8i User Guide which can be found in this folder
C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\gINT\docs\gint_rules_code_V8i.pdf [the path varies depending on which version you have installed]
Page 75 has an example.
gINT Rules uses DAO, so any references to that technology will be helpful. DAO is old, but it is the most efficient data access technolgy for Access.
Phil - thanks for this link.
Steve, you may also want to refer to the videos linked to GRA005 in the WIKI here under gINT Rules Examples. While they are not specific to your needs, they do offer some general advice and examples of using the gINT Rules editor by Salvatore Caronna, gINT's founder.
