Fence reports incorrect placing of inclined boreholes

When we run a fence with inclined boreholes it miss places some of the boreholes following after the first inclined borehole. The images attached shows how it should be with a fence that was manually tilted and the other one that was tilted in gINT.

The first image is the one that was run with the gint inclination at -60 deg

The second image was run with the standard -90 deg and manually tilted in giDraw.

Thanks

  • Danie, this is an issue that needs to be resolved rather than worked around - for one thing, manually-tilted boreholes will not account correctly for elevation at various depths of the inclined boring.

For another, it introduces bogus data to your database (-90º for holes that are actually inclined at -60º). You should never have to falsify or dumb-down data to make the report come out right!

I strongly suggest you contact Technical Support about this issue, and they can help identify the cause of the mispositioned elements on the fence report.
