Turn Bitmap preview off?

Hi there. We have a number of tables in gINT to load things like site photos, TP photos etc. These work fine, however gINT takes an age to load and show the bitmap preview in the Load Raster file dialogue. It's not a problem when you only have a couple of photos to load, but when you are trying to load 50 of the things it can take you all morning The photos are standard digital camera photos, so not big file sizes (3.5MB ish) I want to know if there is a setting somewhere I missed that allows you to turn off the raster file preview for the dialogue as its the fetching and rendering of the file that seems to take the time.

  • Miles, so far as I know, there is no setting that turns off the raster image preview.

But, as I replied to your other post about the drive mapping for bitmap files, you could do this data entry in an Excel spreadsheet, then import that data into gINT. Since Excel isn't worried about the actual contents of the file at the path and filename you enter, you will be able to bypass the image preview.
