Hi All
Another question.
The client wants just the data markers to plot, no lines, on a Graph Report. The Data Marker colour is controlled by the line colour. I have a colour list for the lines and I presumed that setting the Graph Line Option under Data Representation to "No Lines" would not plot any lines, but would still serve to feed the data marker colour..... It doesn't :-( Everything goes back to black (there's a song title in there somewhere :-) ) I have even tried adding a hidden layer on the report and setting the Layer For Plot Lines to this layer, which it seems to ignore completely.
How can I have coloured data markers, with no lines?

If you want to hide the lines but preserve the colors and still use the built in line color list functionality.
Then open the report in report design…go to report properties..data representation tab…leave the graph line option at straight lines. Then go down to the line type list and choose none.
This shows only the data markers with out a line.
Let me know if this is what you wanted..
Damn!!!! Thought I'd tried that one :-(
Many thanks for that.
