Hi all.
I may be missing something here, and I can certainly do it myself, but.... I have the latest set of AGS 4 files downloaded from Bentley (gint std ags4 - 20121116.zip) We have had a client request AGS 4 data from a project (first time we've been asked for AGS 4) Our current gINT data structure is AGS 3.1 based and looking through the gcx and gci files contained in the above zip file I can't see anything that goes from AGS 3.1 to AGS 4. There is one that goes from AGS 4 to AGS 3.1 but not the other way round. My question is, is there a .gcx file available to export from AGS 3.1 to AGS 4, or am I going to have to create one myself? I can always use an AGS 4 datatemplate, export data from our AGS3.1 structure to AGS 3.1 and then use the gint std ags 4 from ags 3_1.gci and import that to the AGS4 data template project and then export to AGS 4, but that seems like a very long winded way of doing things.

Hello Miles,
Did you get these files before we released them in the installer? There should be a gINT Std AGS 4 From AGS 3_1.GCI. I'll send it to you. But, you could also get it by reinstalling (I know you have the latest build) and selecting 'Change'. On the next screen, select the AGS 4.0 option. If your gINT Std AGS 4 files are in the default location (File>System Properties>File Location Defaults) this won't work. In that case, you would need to delete or move your files first.
Thanks both. I have the latest files and I'll do it as David suggested. :-)
