I've been off work for a year on Mat leave and I've come back to find whoever looked after my company's HBSI in a bit of a mess!!!!
The person has left the company now so I can't ask what they've done!
Basically they've added a whole bunch of geol codes to the whole system that I can't seem to delete from the home page before I click on a project. I'm creating new projects up North and its annoying I have a massive list of London Basin geology codes already in the project picklist!
Any ideas on how to delete them from the system picklist? The delete button is greyed out when I've tried.
You can only delete these at configuration pack level. Login as administrator, click on Configuration Packs, select your pack, go to Manage Picklists, select the picklist you want to edit, select from the list an item you wish to delete, this will then enable to Delete button
Hi Melanie, I've tried this and the delete button still remains greyed out like in the image above.
I have a second config pack I created recently for a different co-ordinate system and I can delete them from there. Is it likely that I can' delete them from the normal config pack we use because they could be in use in one of the projects?
Yes this is the most likely cause, I have just tested this and if in use they cannot be deleted
Damn! Annoying, I may create a new updated config pack without them as there is so many in there!
