After setting up a test schedule I am unable to delete it. Given reason is that there are tests in progress, although there is none.
What is the method for deleting schedules?
Hi Ryan
If there are no tests running, you should mark the Schedule as Complete, this will remove it from the list
Thanks for the reply.
To be clear, I am looking to delete a schedule from the DB completely.
Marking a schedule as completed will keep it on the DB.
Is this possible?
No a schedule can't be deleted, only assigned as Completed
Do you see why this is confusing.
There is a content menu item "Delete", a confirmation message box "Are you sure you want to delete the selected schedule" and an message box saying it can't be deleted as it contains active tests.
Yet a schedule can't be deleted.
There are circumstances where a schedule should be deleted, say it was made in error or recalled(actually an additional status of - "recalled" would be useful IMO) or it was made for training. If I wanted to do some analytics on schedules completed month on month, and one month I was training someone on using Keylab having them create demo/test schedules etc. My figures for that month would include those "completed" schedules that were, made as demos or made in error.
May I make the suggestion that since a schedule can be created in KeyLab, Keylab should be able to delete it.
It would also be useful to create custom statuses in addition to the "In progress", "Completed" Simply because none of us can foresee every situation and what information will be useful. Just of the top of my head "On hold" and "Recalled" may be useful to me, something else might be useful to another lab.
