Hello,
I was attempting to import a .dxf file I generated from an existing .dwg file, and I ran in to this error message:
Unfortunately I could not find any other indication as to why this error was generated, so I tried one of the fixes for general problems with .dxf files that I found on one of the Bentley Forums: saving the .dxf file as an older file type. I tried saving as a 2010, and 2000, .dxf file and neither worked, the program still gave me the same error. Has anyone else run in to this? Does anyone know any other possible solutions?
Thanks in advance.
Hi Barrett
Can you please upload the DXF file to this link please: bentley.sharefile.com/r-rc2e74f2526514239b3e6f4b8180f668f
I uploaded the .dxf file in question, please let me know if there are any issues. On a slightly related note I was wondering if it was possible to upload new coordinate systems to a configuration pack? Our CAD files do not use the NAD83/UTM Zones that our configuration packs currently have, and I would like to use the NAD83 California State Planes coordinate systems. Is this possible?
Thanks.
Hi Barratt
What version are you using, is it desktop HBSI, or OpenGround Cloud please. I'll take a look at the DXF file and keep you updated
