I exported a csv data table from a project, filled it in with data, and tried to import it, but I am getting an error message that it is an unrecognised table. I did not change the headers or csv file name. Please advise.
Hi Morgan,
Is this a custom table? The CSV mapping might need to be updated if so.
Assuming you have admin rights, you can go to System>Configuration Packs>Manage Model>Edit Mapping for the Group in question. Enter the Group (Display Name) for the CSV mapping field. You might also need to do similar to update the mappings for the Headers within that Group.
Alternatively, you can also go to System>Configuration Packs>Transfer Mapping and Download the CSV Import XML Mapping. And then edit the mapping directly in the XML if you are familiar with that.
If it seems like the Groups/Headers are already mapped, let us know and we can investigate further.
I don't think I have Admin rights. But this is what I see.
Assuming I can't change the Groups/Headers without admin rights, is there a way to bulk paste data on a line by line basis so I don't have to hand type everything in?
It looks like the table display name has been changed to "Direct Shear - Data".
For CSV (Default), change the Group name to "Direct Shear - Data" and see if that works. (if you don't have admin rights, you might have to ask your OpenGround admin to do it.)
There isn't a bulk paste option, so csv would probably be the best way to import that data.
