Open Ground Manage Picklists

When I access the Manage Picklists in Open Ground and go to StratumDetails-LegendCode. I came across the Values section but unable to edit the image already applied to that value due to it being greyed out. Is there a way to be able to change it so the "Edit Image" isn't greyed out and allow me to access the image that is being applied? Is this something that has been set by our IT person? Also I have read that they are .bmp files but don't know which folder is being used to store the .bmp files. Thus allowing me to change the image to my preference.

  • Hi Julio,

Before making any edits, even if you have been given permissions, I highly recommend you contact your OpenGround cloud administrator at your organization as any edits would change things for the entire organization.

There are a few reasons that the edit buttons can be greyed out.

    1. You haven't been given permissions by your cloud admin to edit the system configuration pack that stores the picklist items.

    2. You have a project open and you are trying to edit a system level item in the config pack. (from the screen shot this looks like what you are doing) Assuming you have rights you will need to go into the system config pack to edit the existing images. You also may be able to add a new value that will be only Project level (in other words it will only be available to this project)

    3. If you have rights Once you hit edit you have to select a value before the edit buttons will become available.

Here are a few items you may find useful about configuration packs and picklists

Use configuration packs to enable customisation that can be applied to more than one project. Where changes are made within the configuration pack (e.g., additional components are imported), they are…
