Power BI Report 1 - Cloud Parameters

Hi, I am following the steps in the Power BI Report 1 - Cloud Parameters portion of the Power BI User Guide. 

  • Where should the Cloud Paramters;pbit file have been saved to my computer during installation?
  • Did you attach a copy of the report we should use to the User Guide as the default place where we should look for the file?

    Hi Melanie,

    I think that is a bit of word play. I can see the confusion. You have to download the report from the link in the article where it says download report template. You should then open the .pbit file from your PowerBI application. You should be able to store it where you like. We will edit that to make it more clear.

    These are the template files. once you have entered the cloud info based on your cloud and save them as .pbix files you can open them directly from the launcher as well with out be prompted to login to your cloud
