I have two problems. First, I have admin rights in OG Professional and created a new project in Professional. I can see the project in Collector but when I "Select Project" I get an error message "There are currently no downloaded data entry profiles" (see photo below). So I can't do anything more and I can't enter data. This problem appears to be specific to me because another user, who also has admin rights, does not get the same error and can enter data into the project. I am using OG Collector on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e and I am the only user logged into the tablet.
The second problem is that when I sign out of Collector and my coworker signs in Collector still shows my profile. The person trying to sign in has a CONNECTION Client account. I've given them access to one project but they can see all projects in the Collection app, as if they had admin rights. The photo below shows my initial "J" at the top after they've logged in.
Hi John, for the first problem, what happens when you click that cloud button at the bottom of the screen? It should let you download a profile and then enter data.
For the second problem, are your credentials stored in the tablet/browser? If so, your colleague would be able to (accidentally) sign-in as you. When you sign-in, before you get to the step in the screenshot, there should be a step to select the account to sign in with. At that point your colleague should select "Use another account" and enter their credentials. That would be the first thing to try/confirm the colleague is doing. If that's not the issue, please let us know.
Hi Jesse, I am the colleague John is referring to. In regards to the first problem - when I click the cloud button there is an error message that shows up (see image 1). If I click "ok" the screen proceeds to say- "there are currently no downloaded data entry profiles" (see image 2). For the second problem - when I attempt to log in under my account the permissions screen, which asks you to agree to Bentley System's terms of service, indicates the "OG Cloud Data Collector is requesting access to the following information on behalf of John". When I click agree - it boots me into his account. It may be that his log in credentials are stored in the tablet, but how would I go about changing this? Seems as though anyone who attempts to log in "under another account" would automatically be booted into John's account.
Hi Norbert, That doesn't sound like proper behavior. Can you please file a Service Request, and the team can look further into what might be happening.
