Hello. I am new to OpenGround but am quite familiar with gINT. I am finding my way around log templates in Template Studio, but I cannot see how to make an elevation scale. There is a Depth Related item in the sidebar for "Vertical Scale" that gives depth with zero at the ground surface. However, the only editing I can see possible is related to the tick marks.
A strip section that was made for us in the initial set up of OG does look like an elevation scale - previews in Template Studio look correct. But I don't understand which item is in the depth related part of the template. The grid cuts the design-time text off to read simply "cedVertica", and I can see nothing in the list of Depth Related items that this might correspond to. A screenshot is below.
How can I make an elevation scale for a log?
Thanks.
Hi Gregory, For the "Vertical Scale" Depth Related item there is a checkbox option at the bottom of the Properties window for "GroundLevelScale". You can check that box to make the scale an Elevation scale.

Thanks, Jesse, that worked!
Now that I see this, a big part of the problem is that I don't have that checkbox in the Properties window for the "ASTM Laboratory Borehole Log" template that came with my config pack. It is only when I make a new Depth Related item and fill it with Vertical Scale that I see the long list of properties to adjust with the GroundLevelScale checkbox at the bottom. A screenshot of what I saw is below:
Anyway, thanks again!
