I show sampler types on a boring log and want to put a line across the column at the top and bottom borders of the sampler symbol. Mostly I want this for sample type RC, rock cores, because adjacent cores look like one long core. I am also making strip sets where the sampler symbol must, by itself, convey the extent of a sample.
The Properties panel of Picklist Range Symbols looks like it has a place to do that, but I cannot seem to get a border line to show on the sample symbols. Attached are two annotated images. Comments 1 thru 4 outline the problem and illustrate what I get now. Comment 5 shows what I am trying to achieve.

Hi Gregory, there should be a ConnectorSymbolBorder property where you would typically define a border for that purpose. (Perhaps if you are using an older template, you might not see that option. But I think you should be able to add (replace) the existing Picklist Range Symbol object with a new one, and then that option should be available.)
