Hi all,
I created a quicklist for soil proportion and particle size
When this quicklist is used in OpenGround Data Entry, an error occurs where the user is unable to save the data.
If the entry is deleted, the data will be saved normally and the error disappears.
Here are the details for the header if needed.
Edit--
I removed the quicklist, and now the header is just a string (longtext). The error still occurs. This only occurs when I try to enter data for the Particle Size header.
Edit2--
Now I have deleted all the data in all project within the header, in an attempt to reformat the header back to a picklist. It was originally a picklist in the USDefault config pack provided to me. Despite all fields being empty, the header cannot be revised or deleted. I suspect that something is broken now with this header.
Thanks,
Hi Joseph,
If you hover over the error icon what does it say the error is? Will continue in SR.

Hi Martyn,
Thanks for replying. I'll work this out with you on the SR, however will update documentation here for other users who may run into the issue.
Hello all,
This issue is partially resolved. The problem was tied to the SoilParticleSize header. A new header was created with a different name but all the same settings and the formulas/calculations ran and the data saved properly. Support may still be looking into why that specific header broke.
This issue has been resolved. A Bentley Developer informed that this issue occurs when working on OpenGround with poor internet. When making changes to headers, OpenGround currently sends several requests to the server to make changes. If your internet falters at any point while those changes are being sent, it will result in a corrupted header bug.
The developer assured me that this is being patched in January. The patch will aggregate the requests into one packet so that they cannot be partially sent to the server due to poor internet. If you are experiencing this issue, reach out to Bentley Support and request that a developer reset the header for you.
