I open Extension v10.01.1683 from Cloud launcher. Open project and select to "Create" a new report. I then get a blank excel window with no sheet visible. The ribbon does not update to the full ribbon to allow me to add tables etc.
This is not just unique to my machine. I am seeing it on colleague's machines too.
It doesnt seem to make any diffence if excel is already running or when launching the Excel Extension.
Is there a straightforward solution/change of setting to resolve this or does it require more investigation?

The issue seems to be with some add-ins you may have that is blocking the excel to be opening with a new blank report. Basically, if any add-ins top over excel then it will prevent excel from opening up. Excel extension HAS to be the priority to open first. So, you will have to try this:
1) Open your Excel extension through the launcher. Go to File> Options. Go to Add-ins. In the drop down for Manage, select COMM Add-ins>GO and uncheck every single add-in EXCEPT OpenGround Excel Extension. OK it, and that should open excel normally.
Thanks - tried that - disabled Kofax PDF add-ins so only Openground addin remaining. Closed everything and re-opened excel to verify that that is the only active add-in - confirmed. Ran Extension from the launcher, but unforetunately no change in behaviour.
My excel when I open it doesnt open with a blank workbook though which could be the problem. For some reason my excel default is to open with no workbook and a blank window even with all add-ins disabled.
