How do I create a basic section or profile within the OpenGround Cloud Civil 3D Extension?

Answer

To create a basic section please follow the steps below;

When you do this it will open the project and plot the locations in the drawing.

From the ribbon select "Strata". Once the window opens tick on the top and base geology layers you want to include on the section then click "Strata" again to close the window.

Choose the Create Profile Button from the OpenGround Ribbon

Either choose an existing Civil 3D alignment or you can create one from the menu.

In the next window, select a location style, adjust the buffer until all the locations you want are included and then select "Finish"

This will take you to the drawing and ask you to pick a location to draw the section.
