If when using the Data Entry Tool, in the step where you add Geology Descriptions and you find it freezes you need to close both OpenGround and Data Entry.
You will then you need to rearrange the columns so that description is a column after the Key Fields columns, Top Depth and Base Depth. This is because the application is trying to validate the row of data before the values are entered, causing a loop. Moving the key fields before the description column allows for the validation to complete correctly.
