Unable to 'Group' data column

Issue Summary

When reviewing items in the data selection panel the option to 'Group' a column of data is not available.

Resolution

Items when are set to be 'Long Text' in the configuration settings are not available for grouping. Usually, this property should be reserved for lengthy text such as geological or sample descriptions, or location remarks. These are not appropriate for grouping.

In most cases where this is likely to cause an issue the required data column should be set to 'ShortText':

1. Login to OpenGround using an account with sufficient privileges and select the 'Manage Model' under the Configuration Pack or perhaps the project as appropriate.

2. 'Edit' both the affected grid and then the appropriate column to review the settings.

3. Change the 'Display Type' from 'LongText' to 'ShortText' and 'Save' the changes.

4. Restart the Excel Extension and continue with template design.
