    How to save a Template and save the ran report as a workbook

    Explanation

    We have found a lot of people don't save their report templates as just reports and instead open a template in edit mode and then run the report.

    Process

    If you want to save a template as a report please follow the instructions below;

    Firstly login to the Excel Extension as the Administrator, open your project, and open the template you want to save as a report. Then once you're happy with the template select "Save" from the design ribbon and save the template to the configuration pack as shown below;

    After you have saved the template as a report close the template and then click on "Reports" from the ribbon. You should then see the report you saved listed in the window that opens as shown below:

    You can then just select the report and then "Open". This will open the report without all the design features but allowing you to run the report and save it as a Excel Workbook.
