Does OpenGround Cloud Professional produce outputs for simple Cone Penetration Testing? Note: this is not be confused with Static Cone Penetration Testing (CPT).
OpenGround Cloud Professional does allow Cone Penetration Testing to be recorded and reported but does not ship with the relevant components. Therefore, additional components can be requested from our Support team and brought into the system. Note: these components have been designed for use with the UK configuration pack.
Additional components can be imported into OpenGround Cloud Professional which support the recording and reporting of Cone Penetration Testing data.
The Cone Penetration Testing Data Extension.hbc will need to be imported first. This creates two additional grids within OpenGround Cloud Professional and so allow the test results to be recorded:
It is also possible to capture the data using a Data Entry Feedback Tool template, which also serves as an example of how the data can be recorded. It will only function correctly after the necessary database model changes have been carried out, so the previously mentioned hbc files need to have been imported into OpenGround Cloud Professional first.
The below image illustrates the Template
With the Cone Penetration Testing Data Extension .hbc successfully imported it is now possible to import the following log output:
The Cone Penetration Testing log is available in two formats - HBT and HBC. The preferred approach for users who have a Template Studio licence would be to bring the HBT in through this module - please see Loading in a OpenGround Cloud Template File in the Further Information section below. If your organisation does not hold a Template Studio licence importing the HBC as any other component will bring in a read only version of the log.
