This article will explain what a configuration pack is and what the components of a pack are.
Configuration packs are packages used within OpenGround Cloud Professional to enable customisation that can then be exported and used in other projects when needed.
Configuration Packs can contain a number of components that can be used to setup the OpenGround Cloud system to fit your organisation's needs. Once a project has then been setup as required, it can then be used as a 'template' to be used when creating new projects.
Configuration Components (*.hbc files) are the individual customisations that individualise a project. These can contain a number of customisations to any of the individual component types below.
Once these have been imported (or created within) a project, the project can then be used within OpenGround Cloud Professional to create a 'template' that can be used as a base for when creating new OpenGround Cloud projects. To do this, create a Configuration Pack from the project used as a template.
When creating a new project, the Configuration Pack will then appear for selection, allowing for the customisations made in the template project to be applied to the new one.
