It may be necessary for the values shown in OpenGround Cloud Professional to be changed depending on the requirement. In this example, we will use the Triaxial Total Stress General - CU (Undrained Shear Strength) field, although this principle can be expanded to any other numeric field in the database.
For this example, we will make this change within the Configuration Pack, however this change could be made more locally within a project if the need arises.
By default, the Undrained Shear Strength field is reported to show the data in significant figures such as below;
To change this, we will need to browse through to the configuration pack model and edit the view type.
Firstly, load up OpenGround Cloud Professional and ensure that no project is open, then browse through to System - Configuration Packs
A list of all of the configuration packs currently within the database will then appear. Select the configuration pack that you wish to edit, then select Configuration Tools - Manage Model from the ribbon.
By default, OpenGround Cloud Professional will only have one configuration pack (Default). However further packs can be created by using the Configuration Tools - Create Pack option.
The Manage Model window will then appear. Browse through to the required table, select it and select Edit.
The Edit Group window will then be shown, select the required field from the list and then select Edit.
The Edit Heading window will then appear. Simply find the option that states Decimal Places, then change the value from Significant Figures to Decimal Places.
Save all of the windows, then close and return to the project. The value within the Triaxial Tests - Total Stress General table for the Undrained Shear Strength results will now show as a 2dp value instead.
